Real Club Deportivo announced this Friday the transfer of the federative rights of the Portuguese Luis Carlos Correia, Luisinho, to SD Huesca. The A Coruña club thanks the Portuguese for his commitment to Deportivo five years ago and "his passion and work during this stage" as a blue and white player. Luisinho was the only player left Special Data in the squad that achieved the last promotion in the 2013/2014 season. That season he was joined by Deportivo from Benfica and as a blue and white he has played 111 League games (one goal), 9 Copa del Rey games (one goal) and 31 Second Division games (three goals). During his time as a blue and white player, he was on the verge of being separated from the club in the 2015/2016 season after having problems with his coach, Víctor Sánchez del Amo, and a confrontation with central defender Alejandro Arribas. However, Luisinho stayed on the squad and the coach, who also had a current contract, was fired. The Deportivo left back, with a strong character when he is on the pitch, will continue his career at Huesca, recently promoted to the First Division, while Deportivo has taken the opposite path and will be in the Second Division next season.
